Must-knows
- Capacity: Boats have a strict maximum capacity of 12 passengers or 1,700 lbs total weight, whichever is reached first, regardless of age or size.
- Fuel: The first 10 gallons of fuel are included. If you are staying within the bay, this may cover most or all of your trip. Trips to the Gulf may exceed the included fuel allowance, and excess fuel will be charged upon return.
- Boater Card: Florida law requires anyone born on or after January 1, 1988, to have a valid Florida Boating Safety Education ID Card to operate the boat. Guests may complete a temporary boating test online before arrival.
- Rental Times: Rentals begin exactly at the time listed on your reservation. Morning and full-day rentals begin at 8:00 AM, and afternoon rentals begin at 12:30 PM. Arriving late will shorten your rental time.
- Return Time: Full-day rentals run from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. All boats must be returned to the dock by 4:30 PM. Late returns may incur a fee.
- Waivers: All guests must complete a digital waiver before boarding. Minors must have a parent or legal guardian present to sign their liability waiver.
- Where You Can Go: Boats are permitted in the Gulf of Mexico, making them a great option for scallop season. Please keep in mind that Gulf trips will likely use more than the included 10 gallons of fuel.
